Planning presentation night? Use this checklist from Brighton Trophy Centre for trophies, medals, engraving, ribbons and timing — including 3+ weeks for large orders.
Presentation night creeps up fast. A short checklist keeps ordering calm — and means players get the right award with the right name on it.
1. Decide the award types
List what you need, for example:
- Best & fairest / club champion
- Runner-up and place getters
- Participation or encouragement awards
- Coaches, volunteers, life members
- Perpetual trophies (and any new plates for this year)
Shop by sport on our site (Aussie Rules, soccer, netball, cricket, basketball, golf and more), or start with medals and trophies if you’re still deciding.
2. Count quantities early
Include spares if names sometimes change. For medals, note ribbon colours (club colours, age groups, or place colours).
3. Gather engraving details in one place
Before you order, collect:
- Full names (spelling checked)
- Award titles (e.g. “Under 14 Best & Fairest 2026”)
- Club or school name
- Logo file, if you want it included
Clear details = fewer delays.
4. Pick personalisation method
- Traditional engraving — classic metal plates and cups
- Laser — glass, acrylic, timber, fine detail
- Sublimation — full-colour logos on suitable products

5. Work backwards from the event date
- Standard orders: allow about 7–10 business days for engraving.
- Large orders (team sets, full club or school orders): allow at least 3 weeks — more time is better if you can.
Add a little extra buffer in busy end-of-season periods, and leave time to proof name lists.
6. Choose pickup or delivery
Pickup: 493a Brighton Road, Brighton SA
Mon–Fri 9–5, Sat 9–12
Or arrange delivery if that suits your committee better.
7. One person to coordinate
It helps if one club contact owns the order, the name list, and the final check. That avoids mixed messages and last-minute changes.
